Ahavat Yisrael is a small Jewish community in Uganda. We are made up of families, children, elders, and converts who are committed to living a Jewish life, learning Torah, prayer, and helping one another with love and dignity.
We are raising money to support our community’s basic needs and religious life. This includes food support, education, prayer materials, healthcare help, rent, water, and electricity, especially for vulnerable families.
Ahavat Yisrael operates in Uganda, East Africa, within local communities of Itonko village Namutumba town where our members live and gather for prayer, study, and community support.
Our work is ongoing throughout the year. Funding is most needed during times of hardship, such as food shortages, drought, illness, school terms, and religious seasons when community needs increase.
People should donate to help a struggling Jewish community survive and grow. Donations help protect life, dignity, faith, and hope. Your support makes a real difference to families who have very limited resources.
All funds will be used directly for community needs, including:
Food and emergency support
Education and Torah learning
Prayer and religious materials
Healthcare assistance
Basic living costs (rent, water, electricity)
We aim to use donations carefully, honestly, and for the benefit of the whole community.
The Ahavat Yisrael Support Fund is a program of Rekonect, a 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Nonprofit Organization.
