Kollel Zichron Avrohom is a torah study institution that is comprised of a Rosh-kollel and 16 already married talmudic scholars ranging from ages 21-30. The funds being raised are used to pay the members of the kollel so that they can dedicate their time growing in their already advanced abilities in torah learning. The goal of the kollel is to create outstanding and wholesome talmidei chachamim with hope that one day they will be able to open their own institutions of advanced torah study such as yeshivos kollelim etc. so that they to can disseminate torah to the masses. Kollel Zichron Avrohom is located in the Ezras Torah neighborhood in the same bais medrash as Yeshivas Mishkan Yisroel. The Kollel needs funding monthly to pay its members on time so that they can grow and fulfill their potential. The reason to donate to this kollel is simple, not only does chazal say that the best way to allocate charity funds is to give it to talmidei chachamim, but moreover the purpose of thuis wold was created for torah. Here we have a kollel in the holiest city in the world (Yerushalayim), but this is a kollel comprised of bnei torah who have potential in just a few years in the kollel to reach unbelievable heights in Torah Study and Shteiging.
